The Cross relatesThe United Methodist church to God through Christ (cross)and the Holy Spirit (flame).The flame is a reminder ofPentecost when witnesses were unified by the power ofthe Holy Spirit and saw "tongues, as of fire" (Acts 2:3).The two tongues of a single flame may also be understood to represent the union of two denominations.

I am Bob Jeffery, Pastor of the New Hope United Methodist Church. I want to welcome you to our website. Thank you for taking time to check us out online.

God’s purpose for the church is to continue to be a light of hope to the Oak Grove community and to the world. There is much to be done in ministry and mission for Jesus Christ and to spread the warmth of love to our community. Your help is needed! Come and join us!!

We spread this love through our family-oriented church with activities for all ages. We have wonderful leaders who teach us about God and his Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our responsibilities as followers of Jesus.
